The privately held company, founded by inventor Jukka Salonen in 1999
in Helsinki, Finland, has, over the years, developed and deployed its
Mobile Engagement Platform across European markets. The core
platform consists of (i) a cloud-based “Mediator”, (ii) a secure,
seamless and multi-channel messaging system, (iii) standardized APIs to
interface with CRM, booking and payments systems, and (iv) a federated
payment system utilizing tokenized credentials.
The company has worked with major global companies, including Nokia, Avis, Finnair, Accenture, and most recently, Amadeus, to offer Bookit solutions to more than 700 airlines worldwide. The Company has profitably grown its business to significant scale with a focus on clients in the parcel delivery, travel, telecom, media and payments verticals.
